My Paintings in a Great Space!

This year started so well for me. 3 months in, and I have participated in 2 group exhibitions and my first solo exhibition here in the US! To add to the laurels, an alumni donation of Currents in Heaven, Cauldrons Below, and Extemporaneous Reality of Being One of Many for a campus building was facilitated by the Grinnell College Museum of Art! I am excited as my paintings will be displayed in the Katherine Howell Weingart ‘61 Civic Innovation Pavillion, Iowa. The buildings were designed by the uber-talented architect Sir David Adjaye. I appreciate the donor Steve, who visited my Torpedo Factory Art Center studio and chose the pieces. Staff at the museum were quite helpful in concluding the process of acquiring the works and getting them safely to Iowa. God bless you all. I am visiting the Museum in the Fall to meet with the community at the Pavillion! Connecting with a new community gives me so much joy. The very idea is that things are moving (my career)... the ground is changing, and a new audience is being reached!

Thank you so much Tony for living it up to this level. Your works speak volumes and, I have been asking and still waiting to have just one piece from you. Keep soaring brotherly.
I am super, super, proud of you. Congratulations. Ope Sangosanya
