Anthony Nsofor is a Nigerian contemporary painter, located in Alexandria, VA at the Torpedo Factory, whose work defies easy classification. A graduate of Fine Arts from Nsukka, he began his career exploring the Uli tradition but has since evolved into an artist with a distinctive voice, untethered from the hallmarks of so-called "ulism."
